INSTITUTE of DRIVER EDUCATION & RESEARCH

FELLOW of the Institute of DER
For holders of an MA / or MSc in Driver Education

Fellows of the Institute will form the nucleus of the Initial Steering Committee
And will determine the ways forward. They will also become the Executive Committee.

GRADUATE Member of the Institute of DER
For holders of a BA / BSc in Driver Education;   

Graduate Members will assist the Steering Committee, as required; and will be eligible to hold Office in the Institute, and to assist in research programmes

Member of the Institute of DER                              
For holders of a Dip. DI. & Cardington Test; ORDIT; or Fleet Training Certificate; or similar (please ASK!!)

Members will have full voting rights; but are expected to aim for Graduate level in the future; and are invited to assist lower level members to extend their personal CPD

ASSOCIATE MEMBER of the Institute of DER 

A.M.I.D.E.R. usually ADIs Grade 5 & 6

ASSOCIATE members will have full voting rights, but are expected to continue their personal CPD programmes, making use of IDER facilities where available. 

LICENTIATE Member of the Institute of DER

For those ADIs taking Degree or Diploma Courses in Driver Education: £120 Fee includes a unique DER Degree / Diploma Assistance Pack  to assist with CPD.

LICENTIATE members will have limited voting rights; but will be able to benefit from Institute business to achieve success in their chosen CPD.  Mentoring is available to all who ask. 

TRAINEE  Member of the Institute of DER;

ALL ADIs are offered the One-Off Download Fee of £35. for all ADIs (personalised with their own School or Individual Instructors’ details):

TRAINEE Members of the Institute have no voting rights; but are expected to improve their personal ADI CPD ratings, preferably by making use of the Freephone, e. mail, Mentoring and Tutorial services are offered.

The download allows all pupils to be given their own Personalised Lesson Plan as shown in the final part of the book. A guaranteed way for them to pass their Driving Test, provided they follow the plan.
